Emmanuel Adebayor and Aaron Lennon have been banished from Mauricio Pochettino's Spurs squad for the new season.
While the pair are allowed to use first team facilities at the club's Enfield HQ they have been told they must train with the development squad.
Mirror Sport revealed last weekend that Spurs are in talks with Aston Villa over a move for Adebayor but have yet to agree a deal.
